I’ll admit I’ve enjoyed his solo stuff almost as much as the Pixies. Almost. (And now that Kim has left the band, it’s actually kinda even. She will be greatly missed, though thankfully she’s still doing her thing, because not many are as “Cool As Kim Deal“. I digress.)
So, not only is his solo renderings of Pixies songs nearly as chilling as the originals, but his solo-solo songs, of course, bring the same snarl and baditude. Must hear (fine, everything on my site is must hear.)
